Mrs. Rachel Smith, a.k.a. Mrs. Library Smith, is the school librarian at Keowee. August of 2023 begins Mrs. Smith's 26th year at Keowee! Before becoming the school librarian 16 years ago, she taught first grade, second grade, and reading intervention. Mrs. Library Smith's favorite part of the job is reading aloud to and being able to interact with all students at Keowee.
The mission of the school library media program is to assist members of the learning community in becoming effective users of information and to foster a love of reading.
